Privacy – How we handle your data. No account required.
Rrav is built so you can focus on learning without creating an account. Most of what you do in the app stays on your device. This page explains what data the app uses, where it is stored, and when anything might touch services outside your device.
| Data | Where it lives | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Text you paste or type (Record) | On your device | To build stars and show them in Galaxy and Story Cards |
| Images you add (Record or star edit) | On your device (app storage) | To attach a picture to a capture or a star; shown in preview and Latest / Galaxy |
| Stars, clusters, links, mastery | On your device | To power the galaxy map, review queue, and Story Cards |
| Favorites and filters | On your device | To remember your preferences and speed up browsing |
| Coin balance and purchase history | On your device and with the store | To manage in-app coins and purchases |
The app may use device storage, memory, and screen size to run correctly and to save your content. If you grant permission, we use the photo library or camera only to let you pick or take images for Record or for editing a star. We do not upload your photos to our servers. Images are copied into the app’s own storage so they persist after you close the app.
On supported platforms (e.g. iOS), the app may show a system prompt about tracking. Your choice there affects whether identifier-based tracking is used. We do not rely on tracking to provide the core experience. Any analytics we use are to understand how the app is used and to fix issues, not to build a profile of you for advertising.
When you buy coins or other in-app products, the store (e.g. Apple) processes the payment. We receive only what the store shares (e.g. that a purchase succeeded) so we can grant coins or access. We do not store your payment card details. Billing and refunds are handled by the store.
We do not sell your data. We do not share your stars, notes, or images with third parties for marketing. If we ever need to share data for legal or safety reasons, we would do so only as required by law or to protect users and the service.
Because your main data is stored on your device, uninstalling the app typically removes it. There is no separate “account” to delete. If in the future we add accounts or cloud sync, we will describe how you can request deletion of data we hold.
Rrav is intended for general use. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children in a way that requires parental consent. If you believe a child has provided data inappropriately, contact us and we will address it.
We may update this page to reflect new features or practices. The “Last updated” or similar note at the bottom will change when we do. Continued use of Rrav after updates means you accept the updated description.
